If you read The New York Times? story on President Barack Obama?s private
meeting with news columnists Friday morning, you may have caught one
quote that made the President look particularly bad:
In his meeting with the columnists, Mr. Obama indicated that
he did not see enough cable television to fully appreciate
the anxiety after the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino,
and made clear that he plans to step up his public arguments.
The President of the United States failed to understand that Americans
were anxious after two major terrorist attacks in Western cities because
he doesn?t watch TV? It?s an admission that opponents are sure to use to
make the president seem out-of-touch at best, and unconcerned about a
serious threat at worst.
Many politicos and journalists immediately saw the newsworthiness of the

I don't know which is worse: The feckless Obama excuse for being a
complete, out-of-touch failure, or the NYTimes trying to cover his ass to

Obama Nine Hours Before Paris Terror Attack: "We've Contained ISIS."
ISIS: "We've contained Obama."
"Never underestimate the willingness of white progressives to be offended
on behalf of people who aren?t and to impose their will on those who
didn?t ask for it." (Derek Hunter)
"We are a people who won?t be played for fools by a president in the grip
of dangerous denial about the identity of the enemy and its dramatic
successes. We are a people who remember an important lesson from World
War II: believe tyrants who tell us who they are and what they plan to
do. Above all, we are a people who refuse to be guilt-tripped into
national suicide"--Joy Overbeck
