How the Fark is any of that going to happen, with a corrupt bought and
paid for congress? And don't tell me to vote for another corrupt
politician.

Question for you Wolli. Do you actually think it's possible to pay
off the debt, or is it better to go to war with China then wipe the
books clean?

China holds $2 trillion of US debt. Maybe it would be best if they
used it to buy US goods and services, as would be the normal thing to
do. rather than hoarding dollars . If they didn't want to do that,
they could always sell their bonds to some one else. Right now, our AA
+ bonds are in such demand that the real rate of interest is at or
below zero percent.
Why would going to war ever be a consideration?

This is a good article, and really is what the press is refering to
when they talk about the roll "banking" had in the recession. There
was a deliberate decison not to regulate these entities, which seed a
tad unfair to some of us:

I'm talking about your dylan rattigan rant with is mathematical facts,
"extraction" (what ever that is), etc. driving the financial markets
into the abyss. He made no sense. Oddly enough bond prices and stock
prices both ended up for the week (not that that necessarily means
anything either)
