see how it relates to the Tea Party agenda, and then think again whether the Tea Party is for or against America.

I know you do not think much of facts, but here are some anyway:

The Tea Party people, among other things, oppose all raising of taxes.

Taxes are the main source of income to any government.

In the US, the tax rate is about 25% of Gross National Product; in most other industrialized countries it is about 40%.

In the US, balancing the budget without raising of taxes would mean cutting the government spending by some 40%. This would be equal to closing 4 schools out of every 10, sending home (possibly to unemployment) from the military 4 people out of every 10, etc.

Would this be good for America, do you think?

One thing seems certain: If the Tea Party people get their ways, you, Doug, will be one of the losers.

As to the “Freedom Fighter” in that cartoon, it would appear that Osama bin Laden has, at least partly, achieved his goal: By coaxing G.W.Bush to involve the US in two costly wars, he has dealt a long-lasting blow to US economy. And the Tea Partiers apparently want to make this blow even harder.
