"The Peruvian guitarist Sonia Hernández opened the program with works by
composers from her country, including Daniel Alomía Robles?s variations
on ?El Cóndor Pasa,?

Hmm .. I'd be interested in getting my hands on those variations.

It's published by Raul Garcia Zarate:

I seem to recall Howard Heitmeyer has a arrangement of this.

The original variations were published in the 1980s by Gitarre & Laute
in Germany. (I used to sell it when I had my mail order business) The
publisher is out of business, but copies of this may be had from some
of the currently active mail order houses.

And so does Jorge Morel. I'm working on it now. Morel's piece is
called simply Peruvian Folksong. But it really is a variations piece.

Yes, in fact I have performed that. John Williams has a recording of it.
That's one reason I was interested in these variations. They seem to be
quite different, from the video posted by Che.

Great - thanks very much, I'll see if I can find them.
