Instead of sending him a link to this thread, send him a link to
bostonpinball and point out that they've averaged $1700 over the last
5 years on ebay. If that don't do it, links to RGP won't help.
This tactic sometimes works when the buyer is clueless about the value
of the game. It gives everyone a starting point, accurate or
otherwise. Without a reasonable starting point, you'll never get
anywhere. Emailing a link to bostonpinball is my last resort. I've had
people thank me for sending it. I would never consider sending an
outsider a link to RGP. One look around here and you'll never hear
from them again.
