We can change! And ... in this case it's a freedom right! [;o)
Love is love... and it has finally been officially recognized for all by the NY state of America!

Of course, there's a dark side to all this. It seems that Doug wasn't
that far off the mark. What happened in NY was masterminded by our
Governor who was born in Buffalo NY. Evidently he had it all planned out
in 1959 when he landed on our isles and befriended the Obamas and
conspired with them to secretly import a Kenyan baby into the newest
state of the union. That the Obamas didn't just have a baby themselves
just goes to show you how diabolical these people were, how convoluted
their plans, and how brilliant their execution.

Producing a valid birth certificate was probably the hardest part of
this conspiracy and required the election of N.A. to the highest
position in the Hawaii State government. As it goes, the Governor is the
only person in the state who would have the resources to fabricate that
single, nearly unobtainable document.

The President, newly armed with indisputable documentation and
unchallengeable legitimacy, was then able to reverse the Executive
branch's stand on gay marriages - the rest is history. You can gush but
I can't help but feel like we got played like puppets...

Back in the late 70's when I cam here, I was surprised to find out
things were much more conversative than I thought. I was yelled at by
a friend when I put my hand on his shoulder while wallking on the
street.Gee whiz, what a freaking big deal about it! In Vietnam, we
could work with a friend, holding hand, neck-in-neck, sleep in the
same bed, and no body cared! It's all natural to me until I came here,
then I had to pay attention not to do those things. It's about time
people learn to accept it!
Cheers,

John

As the times change so do the customs. Remember, not so many years
ago concert pitch was A 414. It sometimes depends on where you live in
this country and how you feel about your "personal space". John, I've
provided a video for you . . . just in case you ever come to Texas, so
you understand the Man Laws in Texas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D...

I noticed, after I posted of course, A 414 is flat. I meant Baroque A
415.

Asians in general don't have much problem with male to male or female to
female displays of affection although they might find male-female public
displays uncomfortable. Personally, I don't like any of my pals coming
near me and shrink away from any physical contact with them at all
unless we're doing something manly like working on car brakes or playing
rugby. Of course, who the hell plays rugby?

My gut feeling is that people's attitude about this will change in the
future i.e., the Asians will start to see that male to male contact is a
basic affront to one's masculinity. :-)
