All very relevant questions. Observations would like me to believe that it comes from a deep seated place in the heart ... darker than Prussian blue .... it falls under an umbrella called the human condition, or the human nature. We do all have it, but ... we do also possess it's other brighter side .... I do not think both sides work under the command of a single switch (the human worlds all contain each others and appears according to the life condition of our nature) but ... the break pedal, particularly the one needed to control our dark side (WOOOOAAAAAA) is pretty hard to find. Being skillful at controlling oneself is no small business! My grand dad use to call the people manifesting this kind of relentlessness "the no break people" .... I imagine that in the currant day we are living in ... the fast pace and all ... technology is providing the no break people with an heaven of possibilities ... an eternal ride on others back, a ride that can be taken freely, without restraint, as we are so far physically from one another ...the Prussian blue hue is darkening... and the blood poisoning is intensifying. I mean, we can all see it at work now, that, we understand. How to stop it? Now that's the insolvable question.

FYI, I think you mean "brake pedal" and "no-brakes".

To be charitable, one can easily see the quality and clarity of your
thought process and critical thinking as you grapple with the color,
Prussian blue.
