Today, I found a nylon string on the bench at Stanley park! A B strg!
I sat beside it, and my gosh ... it started to talk to me. It (the string) confided to me that it would have preferred to be a lost noodle for a hungry seagull rather than to be a lost classical guitar B string. I have never been afraid of a B string before ... but this time, with this unknown brand string talking to me, I got really scared, I immediately thought of you guys, there lied the evidence you needed to thing that I might need some sort of meds.
Luckily for me, seagulls are stupid and ... the one that came and grabbed that talking string was no exception. Ouf!
My undisclosed insanity once more saved by a purely fortuitous event.

That five-story hotel/apartment building, the Rosellen, looking over
Stanley Park was home for some three months. I practiced everyday,
looking out at the freighters moored in English Bay.

I used stay there too, it was my vacation place when I lived in
Seattle. There was an excellent Moroccan restaurant a few doors away.
