The European Parliament has adopted a resolution on Romania's progres
towards EU Accession. According to Art. 41 parliament "expresses its dee
concern about the long transitional periods agreed regarding th
environment chapter, particularly as regards the Rosia Montana min
development, which poses a serious environmental threat to the whol
region.
