Interesting, no update to the beta, but it is much more stable.

I have one quest I can't finish (Cannot join instance" or something
error), but other than that very solid. Played several hours with no
crashes until a server restart.

They've taken the servers down for restarts/fixes the last two nights
in a row (well, night for me, mid-afternoon for US folk I guess!),
each time stability has dramatically improved and the worst bottleneck
bugged quests have been fixed too (there was one last night I waited
30 mins for a named mob who never spawned... went there 15 mins after
restart and found 5 corpses of said mob, who spawned within a minute,
much better!).

So while they're not patching it, they're certainly doing serverside
fixes at present, it's noticeably improving, I'm down to only
crashing/disconnecting every 20-30 mins or so instead of about every 2
:-P

Nice! I still get dc'd randomly, but it doesn't seem to be server
crashes so much since last server restart. They need to make the
garrison instances a bit more bulletproof though, we've stress tested
those to their limts I reckon, they break more often than anything
else anyway.

I don't even get the garrison thing. It doesnâ??t seem to be *AT ALL* like
what they showed at Blizzcon.

I do like summoning super powerful archers every 5 minutes to kick the
everliving crap out of whatever I'm fighting.

Completely unfinished... I hope. So far it's a bit boring, but then
there's very little you can actually do with it yet. If you have
alchemy you have a chance at a drop that lets you progress further.. I
don't, so hoping next build adds stuff. It doesn't so far seem very
customisable though, which I'd been hoping for, more just something to
fill up - but, I'll give it time, it's very clearly not finished yet,
anyway.

I always forget I have those! Tried them on a rare once, didn't stop
me from dying painfully lol. And then I see a forum thread full of
people saying everything's "undertuned" and far too easy. Well, I
don't think I suck that badly, so either they're all talking from 580+
ilvl rather than 500 premades, or Disc needs a buff (which I think it
probably does, I don't expect to kill as fast as dps specs, but it
feels SLOW at present, plus rather squishy in multi-mob situations)

Could just be elitism, and nothing to say they really found it easy.
Keyboard athletes in Lvl 97-100 gear finds lvl 90-93 easy, surprise.
If they wanted to test appropriate gear a few empty slots or equiping
lvl rewards would tell.

For the garrisons, they can be fun, or at least another thing to do
I am hoping it doesn't have unmoderated raiding, like being pvp flagged
all the time.
Assuming probably wrongly it is like other garrison games , guild on
guild garrison fights can be fun , provided it is tower and resource
game not a bunch of pvp freaks exploiting their way through your gates -
otherwise it may as well just be battlegrounds. A 3 days siege
desperately trying to make more lumber to repair the walls and
catapaults, watching food and ammo deplete past replenishment rate can
get quite distracting, finding your garrison endlessly pillaged by 24/7
players not so much.

Hey, we have whackamole ,pokemon, donkeykong , I can hope for a decent
tower defence.

I didn't die at all until I was 90.8 or so, then I died about 6 times in
under an hour. Meh.

I've gotten several blue scrolls like "Draenor mining guide" that seem
to do absolutely nothing. It says "You learn a new skill: mining" but I
don't, I already have mining.

I am, once more, reminded how much I *despise* not being able to fly.

I have no access to the beta. So how about bags in WoW? I keep making
the 28 slot royal satchels in MoP. Are there bigger bags i WoD?

Yes. But they still need to do bags for tabards and soulbound oddities
from the world events.
My main has been running low on space for a long time despite I also use
void bag for x-mogs and dropped raid gear despite I send all possible
mats and non-soulbound items to a banker and I have 11 royals on that char.

Ah, phew, at least it's not just me then! Haven't died to regular mobs
yet (though I've had to bail and run when they just won't stop
respawning on the same spot, before I killed the last one), but rares
sre not soloable to me lol, luckily it's highly enough populated that
someone always comes along to help out, but I'm hoping it'll be
adjusted a little.

Check your maximum skill level; it will have gone up to 700. even if
you only had it really low, like I did lol (premade, didn't like the
skills given me so changed them) - I now have first aid 11/700, mining
68/700 etc :-)

>I am, once more, reminded how much I *despise* not being able to fly.

I'm thinking it's fantastic for a change! Not forever, certainly, but
exploring SMV on the ground makes it seem so big (far bigger than
Outland SMV ever seems from the air, although I presume they're
actually the same size), and there's so much to explore, I love it.
Feels tons better than just flying over everything and missing all the
interesting stuff. If they don't ever enable it this expansion I won't
be happy, but for the first few months, great, I'm sold :-)

Hehe, true, although some claim they were using premades and still
found it easy, sigh. Yes, I'm not a dps spec, but I enjoyed being able
to solo comfortably in MoP... maybe it's just my spec!

Heh, sounds cool, but not much like how we're told it'll work. I think
NPCs can come and attack your garrison for a while, other players
can't even see it though :-)

Would be cool, but I think it'snot going to end much like that :-)
