Seems I've improved :

I was complaining a lot a while back that I couldn't kill Zandalari
Dinomancers on my main, thanks to their self-healing combined with the
fact that non-shadow priests are about the only spec in the game with
no interrupt ability (*sigh*). Well I was over there today farming
dinosaurs for the pet and thought I'd give it another shot... seems I
can outdps their heals now! :-) Bit marginal still; I get it nearly
all the time if Mindbender is off cooldown, if it's on cd, I
definitely won't get to 50% before the first heal, might make it
before the second, but it's a bit dependent on crits and luck. By the
time the 3rd heal comes round Mindbender is off cd again to solve the
problem :-P

Two hours of farming later, I have my Direhorn Runt and Spectral
Porcupette :-) No raptors dropped (I only needed one after hours
farming on my druid got the other three) so I may give up and buy it
tbh, nice and satisfying knowing I can now beat mobs who I couldn't
get down before though! Hadn't realised my dps would've increased that
much, as I've only gone up maybe 20-25 ilvls since I failed miserably,
clearly it's tipped the balance though.

Also had some fun in Zul'Aman earlier; I did ZG a few weeks back,
which was tricky but soloable enough, ZA seems rather harder though! I
wasn't solo this time; my bf was with me on his 85 druid and I put my
90 druid on follow to make it up to a guild group for the achievement;
and frankly that was a good thing, I find it slightly amusing that an
afk bear auto-attacking can hold aggro on most stuff (ok, my priest's
dps isn't huge, but still!), but it certainly came in handy. As did
the huge amount of roots we had between us lol, two druids (one with
mass entanglement) and my priest having void tendrils, meant melee
mobs were never much of an issue for us, and casters were ok if we
just kited out of their range!

Interestingly, aside from the lynx, the earlier bosses were easier
than the trash, in some cases much easier, which surprised me a lot. I
was also surprised how little the place has changed, considering ZG
had a complete overhaul; a few less trash packs, a few slight changes
to boss mechanics, and fewer adds/phases on the last two bosses, but
otherwise, it's near exactly the same as it was at 70, which was
pretty handy for figuring it out - I don't think I've been there more
than about once since TBC days (and that was probably in Wrath), so it
brought back a few memories!

My main memory of the dragonhawk boss was of a frankly pretty rubbish
group at lvl 70, where absolutely everyone except me (healer) and the
main tank got themselves killed when all of the dragonhawks spawned at
once, leaving the two of us to duo the boss for the last 40% (me being
almost entirely oom, as well)... and we did, a matter of seconds
before the enrage timer! That was very satisfying indeed and still a
favourite memory of mine, some five years later :-D A more amusing
memory from a different group, in the days when the raid had only just
come out, was of Hex Lord mindcontrolling a warlock, who then banished
our tree druid just in time for spirit bolts... one of the funnier
wipes we had :-P
