Trouble in Dalaran

I've been passing the time before Mists goes live getting one of my
sadly neglected alts a few levels closer to end game. She's a
miner/BS, and has been working through the mid 70s in Northrend.
Having collected a bag full of Cobalt ore while questing, I figured I'd
crank out a few bits of armour for a few levels of BS. I went to the
big open shop place in Dalaran that my memory said has a forge and
anvil in it. I smelted all the ore no problem, but when I went to
craft the armour, I got the "Anvil required" message. I figured the
big anvil looking thing in there might only be cosmetic, so went next
door to the shop with the BS trainers in it, which contains two anvils,
both with an "Anvil" too tip. No matter where I stood (even on top of
the anvil), I still got the "anvil requried" message. In the end, I
dropped the Cobalt in the bank, did a few more quests and HSed to IF a
little while later, where I could successfully got the job done. Is
this a genuine bug, or is there some deliberate removal of anvils in
Dalaran? Are there any other places where crafting related
infrastructure is broken/removed?

I believe it's just a bug, happened to me as well (been skilling my
engineer recently), very annoying indeed! Haven't come across anything
else like that thankfully.

seriously they need to make a portable anvil they have a portable mailbox
why not a portable BS shop

Don't be silly! You can't run around adventuring with a bloody anvil
in your pack - it's too heavy! (although it's fine to put a woolly
mammoth in there :P)

I asked fellow guildies last night on this. Looks like six bug
reports on this issue from Deadlighters on Norgannon.

Hopefully it will get fixed next patch tuesday.
