Tasks not showing on map

peter

I've just noticed that my tasks are no longer showing on the small round
map.
And neither is the direction arrow that normally points to the next
task.

Is it due to something I've done or settings removed?

Peter

Hmmm - If I recall, there is a way to turn on and off the built in
"quest helper" type thing (for those who like to do it the old way
without help or sparkling objectives) so it probably got turned off
somehow...Now, someone else will have to tell you where it is to turn it
back on....I don't remember. I've used the Carbonite add-on for years
now, which I prefer.

Shouldn't be anything you've done, I've had it reset a few times
myself. First and easiest possible solution: Assuming your tasks
(quests) aren't listed on the right side of the screen (which is what
always happens to me), open up your quest log (L, I believe) and shift
click on each quest you want listed and want to track (99 and 44/100 %
sure it's shift click, if that doesn't work try shift right click). If
they *are* showing, that's slightly more complicated, but only
slightly. If that's the case, you need to open each quest that you
want to track, either from the log or by clicking on it, and enable
quest tracking (at bottom, I believe it's the right side but not
sure).

... and if THAT fails try typing /reload UI
and if that doesn't fix it you may find an addon is misbehaving :/
