Mismatches in matchmaker arenas

Has anyone notices mismatches in regards to areana matchups. Why
would they mismatch grouos by 25 - 30 points. This has been a pretty
consistent pattern for our team.

Perhaps those were the closest matchups available at the time.

Only 25-30 points? You are lucky, it's common for me to get a 1650 rated
team on a 1450 rated so 200 points difference...

Just a few notes.

1. The more times you win in a row, the higher rated team you end up
facing. I'm about a 1800 rated player, so even on a brand new team
with 0 rating, I'll end up fighting other 1800 rated teams within 7-8
games, just by virtue of a win streak. It's Blizzard's way to try to
push better players up to their correct rating quickly.

2. You have a match making rating (MMR), in addition to your actual
arena rating, which is based upon past performance. You get matched up
by your MMR, not your arena rating. Even if your MMR is zero, your
teammate might have a high MMR, based upon his past performance in
other teams, which will cause you to be matched up with teams closer
to his MMR rating.

3. 50 point differences are approximately equivalent. That is, you
really aren't going to get much closer than 50 point differences most
of the time, once you settle into your rating bracket.
