Using Auctionator with the latest patch i notice the following info
attached to an item in my bag.

It says:
Vendor 86 silver 97 copper
Auction BOP
Disenchant 2 gold 14 silver 8 copper

Can someone explain the meaning of the last two items please.

Peter

Auction BoP means item is BoP so you can't auction it. If it isn't,
then it'd list the average price for auctioning said item.

Disenchant is the price you'd expect to get for the materials you're
most likely to get from disenchanting the item.

You can turn those off in the addon settings btw, I found them pretty
annoying so turned them off - far too many addons want to add stuff to
my tooltips and tit's hard to find the important info when there's a
ton of spam added :-)

Thank you, the disenchant entry baffled me.

I don't think it is 'most likely' but average, you probably figured that, just
clarifying.
One or other auction had an option for 'average' 'max' etc listing ?????
You may get 15s or something for 9 then a 20g item for the tenth.
..and assuming the market for the de items is also as expected.
If it is that and you aren't into storing , using or marketing the de results , it -may-
be better to vendor and avoid the multiple handling. Your time is worth 10g a minute :-)
If putting up for auction as-is people doing mass de may use the suggested price for their
auction valuer, minus a hefty discount for the chance aspect. This is probably your best
bet for max return, you may get near double the vendor price, but hardly worth the listing
effort for this one.

and DOH, of course BOP it isn't an option, but if it wasn't it still wouldn't be :-)

Vendor is self explanatory
Auction - If it says BOP, you can't AH it, but usually it'll tell you
the average price of that item the last time it scanned the AH. If it
has nothing there, it means it's possible that the item wasn't listed
the last time the AH was scanned, so it can't determine the going rate
for that item on the AH. You;ll find this more common with gear than
anything else (esp lower level stuff)

The DE price is pretty cool - It basically is able to give you the AH
price for the mats that item will give you should you DE it. Its nice
to be able to see something like "Action: 20g, Disenchant: 35g", esp
on BoE gear that you picked up. You'll know on a hover that it's worth
more to mail it to your enchanter toon to DE it, than to list it
straight on the AH.

Erg - I just realized, chances are someone posted this info already as
it's Monday morning....Oh well - posting it anyway as I went and typed
it... ;)
