Guild heirlooms

Let's say I buy a heirloom cloak from guild vendor.
Can I then use it on a toon which is not on my guild?

I guess so since they are BOA, but better safe than sorry

I'm pretty sure you can. I did it with the tabard, buying it with my
exalted or reverd main and sent it to my other faction alt.

Sure can, I'm finishing up my Bank toon's (not to be confused with my
Banker, er, *Rogue*, this is the one that split off from my guild so I
could have my own GB) run to 85 now, still using the cloak and helm.
