Priest Holy maybe Disipline

I have a new lev 85 Night elf Priest Shadow/Holy and i like to get healing
a shot, but what is best to go Holy or Discipline?



My Shadow spec is primær ,DPS:-)
and to healer i am newbe big newbe
so this is my first entry to this world.

So i need some info at Holy/Disipline one most go
one to stay.

They are both good, but I think Holy is simpler which might make it easier
for a beginning healer.

Tangs John I think I stay with holy and get me some
training first.

Maybe I will switch over to Dis to see what it gives me
Just to se.

All my other character I play is DPS so it will be a
whole new world for me.

Much like you, I mostly play shadow - I've done very little actual
healing (and almost nothing in instances/raids). I was asking the same
question. Researching it, it seems as though, right now, Disc is more
of a single target healing/damage prevention spec (so good for tank
and off-tank healing), whereas Holy is the better spec for healing the
group in general. Disc isn't bad - the exception to my "almost
nothing" comment above is that I've been running around in TB a bit as
Disc recently, and I've been quite successful at keeping people alive
if I can only manage to target them in time to slap a shield on them
(plus it's quite good at keep[ing me alive as well).

I guess it depends what sort of role you feel you'd prefer.

Hi Ian.

Tangs for info, and yes I have also read this in many
forum, so now I have to make a dision off what to.

I have make backup (screenshot) of my holy setup
So I can tray out the disc spec and come back to
Holy again.

Also found out that disc give me some more live
to stay alive.

But anyway I have to give that disc spec
some chance.

The first time I use Holy I die after 1 min in fight :-)
I have not setup any action key to fight back just healing key
but I have bars setup now and the mops die quick.
