Can a lvl 75 toon get to Deepholm?

petertrei

I've been levelling a mage, now at 74, and rising. I wasn't really
intending to go past 75 with her. I've now done all the 'Tricks and
Treats of Cataclysm' with her, except Deepholm.

Is there a way I can get her there, pre-lvl 80?

thanks

Hmm, got a warlock friend? I haven't heard anything about summoning
being blocked down there, so it'd probably work, if you can get a
warlock and a couple of others together to summon you.

I'm pretty sure that would work. There might be an easier way, too:
Form a party, then use the guild perk summon. Has anyone ever tried
that?

BTW, with a flier and level 70+, that Cata zones were pretty easy,
except for Vash'jir - no water breathing except with potions. I wound
up flying to coords and swimming straight down.

I always forget that one exists (my guild doesn't have it)! Should do
indeed :-)

Nice, I may well give it a shot on some lower lvl alts soon, working
through my last lvl 85 atm so after that it's 80s and 70-somethings,
asde from Deepholm I should be able to get most, and in fact Deepholm
I can get ok on Horde, just make a group using my 85 warlock and 2 of
my bf's characters :-)

Believe there's also the summoning stone just outside of the instance,
so your friend doesn't even have to be a warlock.
Though you still need 2 friends to use the summoning stone right?
They didn't change that while I wasn't looking did they?

Yeah 2 people to use, but do they have a minimum level on them? I know
the maximum lvl on summon stones was removed, but never heard if the
minimum one was too - if it was then great, that's easier than a
warlock :-)

Using the guild perk summon worked (my guild is max level). I
whispered another guildie, asked him to go to Deepholm, form a group
with me, and use the group summon. It worked just fine - no extra
people required.

My toon now has every Alliance 'Tricks and Treats of...' achievement,
at level 75.

I'm sure there are plenty of other uses for this technique.

There is the summoning stone of the Hearth of Stone, but I don't know if
there is a level restriction. I think not.
