There's also Diablo 3 beta test phishing mails going round at the
moment, which would likely ask for battle.net info, so those are a
risk also. It's well worth using a different email address for WoW,
which you use for nothing else - that way I know at a glance that the
many phishing mails I get are fake, because they've all been sent to
the wrong email address. Also means there's a high chance of mail sent
to the right address being genuine, so I don't just bin it without
reading it! (I do still give it a good careful check over with view
source before believing it to be real, however, there are so many
WoW-based scams around that it pays to be careful)

Agreed, the peace of mind is well worth the small price (or no price
if you have a compatible smartphone)
