Guild profession listing error/bug

Ashen Shugar

My DK had found the formula for +50str to bracers the other day and
put it up on the AH since altoholic said my enchanter already knew
it. Well, I was just picking up the gold from the sale of it and
decided to have a look at the AH to see what prices other enchants
were going for, and saw the one I'd just sold for 3k on the AH for 10k
buyout. At least, it may have been the one I'd just sold. The
seller's name started with something that vaguely tickled my memory as
possibly having just seen as the start of the name of the person who'd
brought the one I'd sold.
In anycase, that got me to looking around, and when I checked the
guild profession roster to look up my enchanter, he only had the
+50str to gloves enchant listed. So then I was wondering if that was
the enchant I'd sold and not the +50str to bracers.
So I changed over to my enchanter to have a closer look and discovered
that the guild listing of his enchanting skill was missing the bracer
enchant, not that he didn't know it. And considering it's probably
been months since I learnt the 50str to bracer enchant, it's not like
it's just slow in updating.

So, I guess all that was just to say, if you're looking at a guildies
profession for an enchant (or possibly any other profession) be warned
they may have stuff that's not listed.

Yeah, I noticed this on my Paladin. He has every Blacksmithing recipe
from the Molten Front Armorer dude, but if you look at guild
professions, none of them are showing,

It updated when my Priest got the Power Torrent enchant a few months
ago; perhaps the database has not been updated with recipes that were
released subsequent to Cata's release, like the BoE enchants and
Firelands recipes.

I've noticed that it might take a couple of days for the guild
profession items to update, but never a week or more.
I use Armory to keep track of my own characters professions:

Most of us are probably familiar with this one but I thought I'd mention
it anyway. I use it all the time.

Strange. My Paladin did the Firelands dailies every day the minute
that patch came out. He missed one day. He opened (natch) the Shadow
Warders and Druids, then the Armorer was the first vendor he opened
after that, just so he could get these recipes.

With that timeline, that means that was . . . what? Two months ago?
Longer? The guild professions page still has not updated that he has
these recipes.

Wow, that took a while. Funny how achievements and things like
"Guildie_Name obtained Purple_Item" are updated within minutes or
seconds, and other things take so long.
