Note to self...

....don't ever roll another Night Elf skinner, argh! Damn treehugging
elves won't give me any quests to kill animals, so the only way to
keep skinning anywhere near the level of mobs I'm questing around is
to farm them separately, bah. No kidding either, I'm 28 atm, still in
Ashenvale, and aside from a couple of quests around corrupted animals
in Darkshore, and a few animals that have aggroed on me while passing
by, all my skinning skillups have come from mobs I had to seek out to
kill. Oh and I'm 125 skill, enough for Ashenvale but not even up to
being able to skin mobs of my own lvl.

Very much enjoying the nelf questing experience though, Forest Song
was a bit pointless (same as before Cataclysm) but the rest of the way
I've been enjoying it a lot, particularly seeing the other side of the
Horde v Alliance skirmishes I've been through on Horde already.
Darkshore in particular is great, all the quests around what happened
to Auberdine hit exactly the right note.

I'm just about to take an alt Gnome Warrior through Darkshore.
Couldn't face doing Dun Morogh again. I remember enjoying this
zone a lot pre-Cataclysm.

In the old days, I remember lots and lots of quest requiring the
killing of things like bears and cats. Maybe Ashenvale screws up
the progression.

Strangely I always disliked it pre-Cataclysm, loads of runing around
and not much story was how it felt to me. Enjoy it a lot now though.

There were a lot in the old days I think, but not any more :-/ Had one
to kill bears, one to kill corrupted bears and honestly don't recall
anything else. Ashenvale has no quests at all involving animals, oh
well.
