So I'd decided to get to Exalted with the Consortium so I could get
the thingy to open up the boss at the end of heroic Mana-Tombs without
having to deal with collecting those keys each time. I was still only
around 16k out of 21k, so having read about a hunter that ground the
consortium rep using the add's the end boss in H_MT produces, I
decided to do the same.
And then, because I could, my priest melee'd him to death while
dotting up the add's when they appeared. I managed to time it fairly
well as the rep from the boss pushed me over into exalted. I did
remove my mace for a while to slow things down a bit as it was looking
like the boss might have died before I got enough rep otherwise.
And so that's what I did when I couldn't bring myself to do the
Fireland dailies on a 3rd character in a row for the night. : )
