Anyone remember it? Very limited release (1981 only) and was one of the
first to kind of cross D&D with electronics, with the spinning dark
tower in the center that told you how many warriors you had, did the
calculations on a battle with Brigands, visiting Bazaars, etc.
The reason I bring it up was I was over the parents house and was poking
around and, behold - A found the game in a closet, still in box. I had
forgotten we had it as kids only played it a few times. I took it home,
popped the 'D' size batteries in the tower and the damn thing started
right up, light bulbs and all working! Sat down and and did a 1 vs. the
computer/tower instead of playing WoW. I actually played a board game
for an hour (which I usually despise) and had a blast. Going to get my
daughter to play it with me....I checked online on a whim and the thing
sells for around $300 minimum as long as it's working. I think if my
daughter likes playing it with me, it'll be priceless to me. :)
Pretty cool...Sorry, had to share. :)
