Yes, that has been discussed here after Cata launched. It's great for those
who love the lore as the quest lines now really tell a story (stories) that
tie in well with the over all story.
On the other hand, if you get stuck on a quest or want to skip some, you're
out of luck and it may even become annoying for us lore lovers on the
umpteenth character.
On the whole, I still think it's a step forward, though with a few
disadvantages.
