Changes to Grim Batol [Heroic]

I've done GB on heroic more than all the other heroic 5 mans combined (I
don't know why, it just comes up on the random all the time) and up
until this patch have never had a problem with it.

When I ran it the other day though, we could not get past the dragon
boss at all (the cone of death). I think we'd mostly gotten the
mechanics of it down, but then the healer pulled one of the adds and we
decided to skip it.

The last boss was also a little problematic. In the past I've always
been able to handle one of the adds solo hitting it with concussive shot
and such to slow it up and pouring DPS on it, but not this time, despite
pulling over 12K dps I had to have help, AND the add is now immune to
the pet's intimidation.

We finally put two dps onone add and the other dps and healer on the
other add and had no trouble, but up until then it was like I was
running a whole new instance.

I did get the achievement for the final boss (the egg one) which I've
never managed before; but one or two eggs hatching didn't stop us
burning the crap out of the boss.

OTOH, Lost City seemed a *lot* easier.

Just me?

Dunno - As far as the dragon boss, every group I've run with either
skips it outright, or says we'll take one / two shots at it, then skip
if not successful. But so far - I've not been successful at him. He's
the only boss in any heroic I have not downed as of yet.

As far as the last boss, I got the run last night as a matter of fact.
Didn't notice any difference on my mage, although the group did have
three wipes due to group make up, until we figured a good way to do it
with what we had. Pally tank and heals, Boomer, Fury Warrior, and my
mage. Warrior was assigned to slow left add, and I had right. Boomer
had no slowing and neither could the pallies. The warrior had a rough
time getting to slow his add because right after the gale he suffered a
huge knock back or something from the boss, and we'd get dragons hatched
from his side. I had no problems as I (improved) blinked nearly all the
way up the hall and slowed my add from the second he spawned. So we
changed assignments to have the boomer and warrior take the one side,
and I took the other side alone, with the tank pulling the boss over to
my adds side, thereby giving the warrior the chance to slow. He and the
boomer had no problem then and I either burned my add myself or if he
had any life left by the time he got toward the eggs, the tank was there
with the boss and he helped if needed. We didn't get the achieve though
as the other side's dps was a little weaker and he started casting on
the eggs, but no drakes got up.

This was the first run since the patch and couldn't tell if anything was
different - EXCEPT, now that you mention it, the second boss
(forgemaster?) seemed a lot harder and his flame seemed to have a really
long cast time and spread....can't remember it being like that before,
but I could be wrong.

Hard to say. I haven't run a lot of heroics since the patch, just one a
day and possibly an extra here or there. I've done GB once since the
patch and didn't have troubles. By the dragon boss I guess you mean
Drahga Shadowburner when he summons his dragon? The adds on the last
boss did seem to die a little slower and once somehow completely failed
to set off the hunters frost trap, the aoe slow one, unless it's always
been like that. I'm not surprised intimidation doesn't work, I thought
only slows worked on them, not stuns. So I guess it's a 'bug' fix.

Lost City did seem easier somehow in the single time I did it but I
can't pinpoint how. Just the boss fights were less close cut and
normally there is a *lot* of damage flying around to heal through in those.
