Yes - I agree. All are responsible, of course. I just meant that the
tank and heals have tougher jobs than the dps. dps just stack on your
assigned tank and go at it...Run when fire comes out and stay out of it,
when it stops, stack back on your tank. Rinse and repeat until dead.
Was told that the rule of thumb is that all 6 dps need average over 10k
dps, as it is a dps race. Our wipe we had gotten him down to 400k life
left...so close. But one 9k dps had died, and one has only putting out
5k. That dps was booted, and replaced by a warrior putting out 9k in
the successful run. I did just about 14k, the Boomer behind me was 11k,
the remaining were at around 9k, but man - the top dps that had his
vitamins that day was a shadow priest putting out close to 16-17k... Jeez -
With the death of one 9k dps at about halfway, and the 5k, our average
was about 8-9k. After the boot and the fact that no one died, the
average was over 11k. Even then we were close to enraging, so I'd say
the rule of thumb was pretty right on...
