I want to hit the ground running when the expack drops....

So what to do?

There seems relatively little that I can do now to improve my leveling
speed after the expack,, but this is what I've come up with:

1. Try to max out Justice points. This may allow me to buy some higher
items right away. Apparently, not as good as I'd get for Valor points
(the Cata high-level currency) but the blues I can get will probably
be better than ICC10 stuff. There's a lot of confusion on the forums,
but it looks like a good idea.

2. Maxing Gilneas rep. Not sure how this will help, but it can't hurt.
Already most of the way to Honored.

3. Stockpile enough profession mats to jumpstart maxing them again.
The current recipes probably go gray quickly, but its better than
nothing.

Once the expack drops, I'll be questing, while queued for instances.
While questing, I'll also be herbing, and using the herbs to level
Alchemy.

Any other suggestions?

Complete 25 daily quests, but don't turn them until after Cata hits, then
turn them all in at once for a headstart on level 81.

Bit silly though, what'll it get you? 1%?

More like halfway, at least. Based on my beta experience, 80-81 does not
take long, and lvl 80 ICC/Storm Peaks/etc daily quests reward pretty much
the same XP as the quests in the level 80-82 questing zones.

Each to their own of course, but as with WotLK I intend to take my
sweet time and lap up the new content rather than rushing through it.
You will be level 85 for a very long time.
