Kidnapped? Where are you guys getting this stuff? Are we watching the
same show? The only kid napping was Walt, as he was no where to be seen!

The previews for next week's show made it clear that Ethan has Claire
and Charlie wrapped up somewhere.

Well, kidnapped is a string word, but from next week's promo, it appears
Claire and Charlie and Ethan's hostages.

A spoiler for which episode? It might include a very mild spoiler for
the 10th episode ("Raised by Another"), but that's about it.

I'd say it's speculation. And if you don't want to see *that*, you
shouldn't be reading threads about _Lost_ on Usenet.

(Azure's query matches my second thought - the first being about
Danielle's *son*, which was discarded as the ages don't work out.)

Danielle's husband's name was Richard, I believe and her son's name was Alex.
