I think what initially attracts me to a particular seller is price, availability of whatever it is I'm looking to buy and whether they are willing to ship to the middle of no where. Ease of purchasing is also important (oddly I find ordering via email with payment via PayPal much friendlier than ordering through web forms). After that it's whether I have good experiences with the seller (especially when small hiccups occur).
