VEKN # Vanishing

Anyone else suddenly found they have vanished from the VEKN Number
System? I just went to double check mine and it has gone... Just
wondering if anyone else had the shame thing happen.

WW is apparently stopping all support of VtES from Dec 31. However,
all is well, we have the situation in hand, the players site will be
up and running by then, so relax. The sky is not falling...

Hahahaha. I'm not suggesting the Sky Is Falling. Just feeling a bit
irritated that I can't search for my VEKN anymore. I'll just wait for
it to turn up in the new year.

My cgi is just a brain-dead wrapper around white wolf's search, to allow
for multiple simultaneous searches. Don't expect any miracles from it.

We will try to address all this once we import the old data.
Their system might be buggy for lots of reasons.

One of the players in my local playgroup (a long-time player and a
former Prince) has apparently disappeared from the system. I tried
entering tournament results for an event a few months ago and couldn't
find his name in the system any more. So it's not just you.

Thanks for that.
Just another thought too. Since Oscar is no long the Organised Play
Coordinator for WW, and is the CCP Liason for VEKN...

Who is responsible for managing the approval of Princes, NCs, etc?
Who do you send an 'application' to be a Prince?

If there is some kind of issue (and I'm only thinking of a
hypothetical situation) between Princes, between playgroups and a
Prince, or between Princes & NC... who at VEKN could be asked upon to
step in and arbitrate?

I'm not trying to suggest that there are, or will be issues, but it
would be good for that person to be appointed and for them to never
have to be called upon to do anything other than sign-off on new
Princes and NCs without ever having to step in and sort out issues.

I'd also suggest that title be called Justicar... of course.
