LSJ: Baali Untap + Path of the Void

Path of the Void
Master - Unique
1 Pool
Path. Put this card on a vampire you control. This
vampire gets +1 stealth, -1 bleed, and can inflict
1 damage on any minion as a (D) action. During this
vampire's untap phase, his or her controller must
discard a master card or tap this vampire. Burn
this card if this vampire commits diablerie. A
vampire can have only one path.

My question is whether a Baali with Path of the
Void on it can play the PotV effect first, and then
pay to untap afterward - avoiding the tapping
penalty if the Baali were tapped going into the
turn and they didn't have a master card to discard.
I believe the answer is yes, based on the rule
that _all_ untap effects other than each card's
normal automatic untap may be ordered as desired
by the phasing player. A comment by Salem once
referred to "Baali of the Name" after the Baali
untap rule was revised and went unchallenged,
leading me to believe he was correct that a
"must tap" effect in the untap phase could be
later reversed by the special Baali untap effect.
This would be similar.

A reading of the 'Infernal' rule in the rulebook appears
to confirm your thinking:

[11] Infernal
An infernal minion doesn't untap as normal in the untap
phase. During his controller's untap phase, she may burn
a pool to untap him.

Correct.
