Deck: Kovacs Kannon

Deck: Kovacs Kannon
Uta becomes an anarch and unleashes the Kovacs Kannon, by playing
Loose Cannon for free to strip blood from vampires.
Ambulance and Crypt's Sons provide synergy with Loose Cannon. She is
supported by small vampires who can strip bounce with Revelations or
bounce bleeds with Deflections. I'm considering swapping one or both
Anarch Revolts for Wider Views; Uta's rush works well with them but
they're likely to be voted away very quickly.
I also considered Crocodile Tongue but am unsure how effective it
would be played by an 8 cap in what seems to be a fattie-heavy
environment these days. All criticism welcome! Might just be a stupid
idea in the first place, I'm not sure.

Couldn't you get some synergy with a Tremere equipped with the Ankara
Citadel, like Rutor or Virstania.

I would keep the Anarch Revolt. Except in the rare event that your
prey is also playing anarchs, it's still pool damage. Delaying
Tactics is a good card whether you plan on protecting AR or not.

Personally I would try Crocodile's Tongue, with Magic of the Smith and
Signet of King Saul. Good excuse to put in other handy equipment like
Ivory Bow and Bowl of Convergence.

Do Spirit Summoning Chambers suck? (Just getting back in the game)

For certain values of suck, yes.

If you aren't relying on a specific card that you must have early,
then most other masters are a better choice.

Yeah I think they suck. It's a big pool investment, and only lets you
grab thaumaturgy cards. And in my opinion, thaumaturgy acts as a bit
of a 'support' discipline in Tremere/!Tremere decks, with usually
Dominate or Auspex being the key discipline (depending on whether it's
primarily a bleed or a block deck). I've never really bothered with
them. The only use I could see for it is getting a Rutor's Hand or a
Magic of the Smith, which is a card that you generally really want to
see, but don't want to see multiples of. So you can put one Rutor's
in, and if you get the Rutor's / Magic then great, if you get the
chamber then you can fish for the card you want and you still have a
chamber to use for other stuff. But in my opinion that's not really
worth the two pool (which is a lot) and MPA, not to mention the blood
you have to spend each time you use it.

You mean, "Thank the imaginary father figure in the sky."

That one, I saw.

The "Skip Quoted Text" button in Xnews is very, very helpful in this
regard. When I view a post and I see that it is a response to one of the
scoundrels inhabiting my killfile, I click on this button and any quoted
material then vanishes from off my screen. The scoundrel may howl
imprecations all he likes, but I only see *that* he posted, not *what* he
posted. It's bliss.

It is, as I've said, as though Yosemite Sam were in a soundproof glass
booth. He can shout and cuss and jump about all he likes, but the only
"sound" that gets through is mmmph mmmph mmmph.

So in case there are insult-generators here who wonder why I never respond
to their insults, it's because I don't see the said insults. Causing Tom
Deacon, for example, to cease existing would be highly illegal, immoral,
and (depending on the disposition of the remains) potentially fattening.
But causing Tom Deacon to *seem* not to exist, from my point of view only,
is perfectly legal, and is in fact eminently satisfying.
