As one of the main proponents of the "Swiss School" (i.e. I don't play
a deck at a tournament unless it has already won a tournament), it
seems a little incestuous to only bring decks to a tournament based
upon decks that have already won a tournament.

If you mean it doesn't have ways to inflict massive amounts of pool
damage, then yes you are right, What it does do, in theory, is get
out some heavy hitters fast enough and give you enough pool to survive
long enough to cripple and oust your prey then begin the work of going
backwards around the table. Specifically to address your point, Nana
is not a heavy hitter. She is a good vampire, but not for this deck.
Can it be improved? Yes, this is brand new tech.
