Barrens.

And since you've got Democritus out with his votes and presence, you
might as well have a few Praxis Solomon's in your deck, and maybe a
Thanks for the Donation or two to make sure that some insane bloat
deck doesn't decide to contest back at you.

in fact that event that stops people from gaining pool without the
edge could be good as well

Solutions against weenie potence:
- Secure Haven
- Scourge of the Enochians
- Wash (Fame, Frontal Assault, Haven Uncovered)
- Approximation of Loyalty
- Anarchist Uprising, Domain Challenge, Neonate Breach
- Anthelios + Parthenon + Jake Washington

Another unique that you will likely contest. Definitely needs to go
in.

> - Scourge of the Enochians

Weenie potence is probably using vamps big enough to escape this, but
other weenie decks need to be punished.

I was really surprised at no Anthelios since you are already running
Anson. I think you could go to 6 Dreams and still draw one early
enough and free up slots for some other cards.

I don't think you should focus that much on the Dreams. Why not try to
play the same idea built around Anarch Troublemaker? Use it and then
contest it right away. Your prey gets either tapped again next turn or
has to pay 2 pool/turn! Build a tap and bleed deck around it. It's
always fun to put your prey in loose/loose situation.

I'm surprised you didn't build this around Lasombra and Political
Seizure. Contest any location you want! Force them to pay 2 pool or
you steal it! Maybe with an Insurance Scam to get a "refund" on the
ones that are useless to you, e.g. Ecoterrorists.

Always use your talk phase actions.
Prey's turn: "If you rescue my vampires I will try to slow down the
Potence weenies behind me. If you don't they will be your predator
next."
Grandprey's turn: "If you rescue my vampires I will slow down your
predator and send some pool via Shift."
Predator's turn: "Give me a chance to play or I will back oust with
Kines."

For a card based solution, consider Second Trad+Obedience instead of
Majesties.

Cool, love the idea! I've been vaguely considering something like this
for a while.

I'm a bit baffled by the crypt selection. Why Theo? You are paying 7
pool for cel pre dom and he has no votes.
Maybe rearrange things and try and squeeze in some Lasombra, so you
can play Political Seizure? Replace Theo with Gratiano perhaps?

Where are your thanks for the Donations?! This is the one deck in all
of VTES that can use that card and it's not here?!

Pretty good. Maybe one less conditioning, one more voter cap?

-1 this, +1 Secure Haven. To protect you and/or to contest.

Is this that popular? I would swap it for a Monastery of Shadows.

-1 this, +1 Barrens. I see Metro in about 5% of decks I encounter. I
see Barrens in about 50% of decks I encounter.

What is with the Thanks for the Donation suggestions? Does one really
want a nearly useless card in a deck where when you contest with
someone they will most likely NOT continue to contest with you? I've
regularly played (at least 20 times in various playgroups) a
'Democritus Contests' deck (an old version which is posted on the
Presence site) and have only experienced one occasion where someone
paid the contest ONCE, that's it. At the most, if you are lucky, your
prey will pay one pool for a card slot that could actually be used to
set up, survive or pressure your prey in a more efficient manner.
