Anyone else having an issue with updating the CSV?
I tried the "update from the internet" option and everything seems to
go smoothly until it "Converts" the files... then it goes to 50% and
chokes on it's own Memories of Mortality...

Any hints from the great masses or is this a known bug to the ARDB
Nerds?

How long did you let it run? I know I had a similar issue at one
point, but I left it for a few hours, and it eventually finished. Not
sure how long it took, I left it overnight, and it was done by morning.

This pausing has less to do with ARDB than to do with Windows/
wxWidgets functions in ARDB.
Having worked with ARDB update from internet function from the
beginning, Ive had the exact same problem.
The process times out early an can seem to freeze but it is running.
Just be patient and it will finish.

The function actually updates the entire database from scratch. And
that is why it is slow to respond.
I have noticed an increase and better functionality on Windows 7 than
Windows Vista or XP.
I get a full update and finish with 45 seconds to 1 minute 30 seconds
on Windows 7.
But on WIndows Vista the update slows just like you describes to
almost 2 minutes and 30 seconds...
I have researched this bug intensly when first making the internet
update and it is a specific bug in a wxWidgets function.

Thanks Rob,
If I change windows and try come back to it, Vista tells me that ARDB
is "Not Responding"... so I think I'll just have to give it some more
time to do its thing.

I realise it tends to do that when it hits the 50% updated bit on the
pop-up console. I find that if I leave it be for a little while, it
tends to finish up nicely (regardless of the Not Responding tag).

Hope this helps.
