I recently got into a chat with a returning VTES player in our area.
He currently has contacts with printing presses and this got us into
thinking about VTES playmats for our playgroup. Does anyone have
playmat designs they're willing to share?

A good start would be the EC 2009 giveaway: http://dnn.vtes.net/Portals/17/EC2009/P8...
(Anyone have this design in a file?)

Hoping for a generous response. :)

Though I don't have any designs, I'd say keep the dimensions of the
mat to be 4:3 or 16:9 and enough space to fit at least 7 vertical
cards along the long edge with room to spare (4 in uncontrolled
region, library, crypt, ash heap). The one in the link seemed a little
too tight for 7 cards.

I would totally buy a VTES themed mat if the art's good and its
durable. (I got a rather ridiculous WoW CCG one for winning a VTES
Storyline =_=... anyone wanna trade?).

That's pretty...

I like the simplicity of it. I find the WW-one doesn't quite have
enough space for you to tap vampires and deal with equipment/
retainers, etc. Plus, and this is a big plus, the reminder that PREY
IS LEFT... Even people with some experience seem to have their brain
explode and forget that to get VPs you need to go left...

I love the personalization factor to this game and would love to get a
playmat. Keep us updated and email me if you guys are taking orders!

Now that everyone's back from EC, I'm bumping up this thread in case
anyone missed it.

Any chance for playmat designs we can print for personal use? If
anyone has the EC 2009 giveaway in digital format, it would be a great
starting point.

I have finally received the Palma EC playmat design in digital format
from its author. It's in Corel Draw format (*.cdr)

Hi Damnans,

Great to hear that! Care to share it? I'll figure out how to open it
with non-Corel Draw software. Please send to g s a n v i c - at - g m

Thanks.
