The best Sabbat vote

Demnogonis Saastuttaja

Right, so what do you consider to be the best Sabbat vote deck, ie.
one where it's critical that it's Sabbat and not Camarilla? Right now
I can think only of Toreador Antitribu Foundation Exhibit decks and
Brujah Antitribu Dogs of War / Unexpected Coalition rush decks. I find
the typical Lasombra vote does nothing a Toreador Grand Ball deck
doesn't do better, or an Obfuscate Ventrue deck. A Tzimisce vote would
have some combat in it of course but I haven't quite seen the use of
combining combat and voting (other than DoW / Alastor decks).

Oscar has a Deploy the Hand deck in the TWDA. :)

Those aren't actually decks that care about being Sabbat, though. If
you were to play them with a pile of !Toreador or !Brujah who weren't
Sabbat for some reason, that wouldn't change the functionality of the
decks at all. They happen to be Sabbat, but they don't rely on that
sect affiliation for anything.

Black Forest Base is pretty neat.

Generally speaking, Sabbat vote decks can be really great decks and they
have a lot of tools outside of voting that can really define the deck. With
Tzims you can go wall-ish, with Lasombra there's Nocturns, !Tor and !Brujah
have, as you mentioned, their vote specific stuff and !Ventrue has some
great crypt cards like Bruce the Guy and Laszo Mirac that makes vote-push
unnessecary. You can make tons of cool Sabbat-themed vote decks because you
don't really have to focus on the votes like you do with Grand Ball decks or
Ventrue obf Arika sleaze.

The problem is, that cool extra thing has to be at least as good as Parity
Shift. That's not impossible (on the contrary!) but you really shouldn't be
trying to make a straightforward Sabbat "hi I do KRC vote push and vote cap"
because then you can build the exact same deck with Cammies and get Parity
Shift on the side.

Right now, I would suggest that the card which best fits your question
is Legacy of Pander.

Small/midcap Lasombra with Power Structure and Crusades. It's the only
clan that can pull off good stealth, bounce, Govern and permanent
votes with low caps.

Auto-da-fe/Wormwood or Banishment/Tithings aren't good but they are
interesting. Not enough to buy or trade for them

It comes down to Legacy of Pander and Cardinal Benediction.

There is a combo I have yet to play that I would like too, but I do
not have enough Lukas to make it reliable. Deploy the Hand/Form of
Corruption seems like it could be fun.

Or just use all Setite voting with Free States Rants so you can target
who you want to steal.

Just looking through all the cards that require Sabbat/Sabbat title
there is just isn't much that lends itself to building vote decks
around. Sure Black Forest Base is nice, but it and everything else
doesn't come close to the power that Parity Shift/Second Tradition can
offer to a sect. However, Sabbat can still vote just fine since
nearly all the best vote cards can be called by anyone and the Sabbat
vampires with titles are hardly inferior.

Well I can see how you weren't ousted.

Not sure how the final went but I'll guess everyone saw/knew what you
were doing and considered you a non threat. So this meant no one
screwed with you and the offensive power you did have was enough to
take out weakened players.

Sure you could do that instead, or you could do both ;)

Right, I didn't specifically mean decks that use sect cards, but ones
that just are Sabbat and wouldn't be better done with a Camarilla
clan, such as the Brujah Antitribu Dogs of War deck. I didn't mean
some Auto-Da-Fe decks or something like that, because the Camarilla
political actions are just much better. Which of these would you use,
Templar, Archon or Alastor? Parity Shift or Deploy the hand? That's
why I made this thread. You can't call Legacy of Pander with a Caitiff
or a Ventrue.
