NAC 2010 - Thanks a lot

Felipe Fiuza

Hi everyone,

I just want to thank you all for this excellent weekend. It was really
amazing to know and play with you all who attend the NAC, besides New
Orleans is such a beautiful city, and the Grand Masquerade as a whole
was great too. I hope to meet you all soon on the next championships.
Special thanks to Adam, Selen, Jeff, and Ben, for the such good
moments, and for Oscar for all support he gave me.

Obrigado, Gracias, Thank you,

Felipe Fiuza

Nice!

I'm still waiting for that NAC Day 1 TWD, though. =)

My pleasure Felipe! It was cool seeing you again.
Good thing I wasn't on your table when you were playing Imbued, I
would have totally talked the table into killing you first thing. :-)

And where is your evidence that those items he bought were not the
ones he actually wore?

An absence evidence is not evidence of absence.

As far as I can see, the last official word was from the Chief. I
tracked the NYT coverage and most other coverage. Aside from the
Times, the rest basically cut and pasted each other, all starting with
one blog report of a sales receipt.

That's what Klaus reported and what his links are all about. One
blogger got his hands on a receipt from a gear company and then
ASSumed that's what Holmes actually wore. I see no evidence that he
did.

It may be. It may not be. Klaus and the rest of the gun nutz are not
careful about their facts. Most of them are not sharp enough to
realize they've bought into an ASSumption made by one person.

But that's exactly what they appear to have done. If there's evidence
to the contrary, it hasn't appeared in their arguments so far. If
humiliating themselves in this way encourages them to go do the
digging they should have done before spreading accusations, and if
they come up with something, that will be great. But all they have now
is the not-too-bright assumption that what he bought from that one
shop, weeks before the event, was exactly what Holmes wore.
