....when all you get from a golden chest is a single blue hat and 138
gold pieces. Especially when some nameless beastie nearby just dropped a
green.

I don't think I've ever gotten anything good out of those golden
chests...my one Lo came from a regular chest in Durance 2 though.

Me, I found me a Harlequin today from Baal, which pleased me...those are
always useful.

Oh nice! :)

I just felt it was a real swindle to get so little out of a golden
chest. I've noticed in Act V the golden chests give very few items
compared to the other acts - only 2 or 3, compared to a whole spray of
stuff from the other Acts.

I have found very little of interest from the "sparkly chests", other than
lots of stuff. Mostly gold. Kind of fun to watch it spew out, but rarely
drops anything good (fro me anyway)

Yeah, I was just saddened by the fact that it didn't even 'spew out'
anything. I've had more items drop from ordinary chests in Act 1 Normal!
