GREEK AIRSPACE VIOLATIONS BY TURKISH JETS

Thessaloniki, October 12, 2004

Turkish fighter jets violated the Greek national airspace today in the wider
region of central Aegean.
According to the National Defense General Staff, 5 formations made up of 12
F16 Turkish Air Force aircraft violated the Greek National Airspace in 14
occasions in the wider region of central Aegean and once over the island of
Antipsara at an altitude of
5,000 feet.
The Turkish jets were armed in 4 instances and were all intercepted by Greek
aircraft while 4 dogfights took place.

Actually it's from a Greek Mirage F1, an inferior aircraft which flown by a
superior Greek pilot was able to lock-on to a superior aircraft ( F-16)
flown by inferior turkish pilot. Turkish pilot then says "aman aman " with
hand over eyes and crashes into Aegean sea , right besides the rest of
turkish airforce "mishaps" which have become part of coral community.

The HAF *has* been shooting them down ( Oct 8th 1996 for one) but if the
HAF shot down every turkish aircraft which violated it's airspace then there
would be no more target practice for the HAF. So we must shoot them down
sparingly just as a HUNTER spares the lives of his prey so that he can have
something to hunt and kill another day .
