JAMES CATTELL
Cattell, an American, was an assistant to psychologist Wilhelm Wundt in Germany.
As president of the American Psychological Association he forwarded eugenic
theories of selective breeding and incorporated psychology into American
education and eliminated the phonics method of reading, resulting in widespread
illiteracy.
?A savage brought up in cultivated society will not only retain his dark skin,
but is likely to have also the incoherent mind of his race.?
